With a database of more than 39500 games spanning most game console platforms out there, RetroChecker allows you to get detailed information about the current value (boxed, loose or new), description, release history as well as tons of box arts and in-game screenshots. RetroLens: This premium feature of RetroChecker allows to scan a whole shelf of games by taking a photo - Recognition rates up to 90% and high recognition speeds retrieve lot values for a 100 game collection in seconds. Spine scan mode uses OCR text recognition (Recognition quality varies between systems - works great for PAL PlayStation, PAL PS2, Atari 2600 loose games, PAL Master System, PAL Dreamcast, PSP and many more. This App uses Google Cloud View, whenever the RetroLens Scanning function initiates. Only a single data call is placed per Scan and sent to the Google Cloud Vision system. It produces a singular response containing textual information that allows RetroChecker to match games against the submitted picture. No other Google technologies are implemented in the client. We do absolutely no tracking: We will NOT collect any of your data (your favourites and collection items will never be sent to us).
