BuoyPro is a powerful marine weather app that shows live weather buoy observations, marine forecasts, on-shore weather, and sun & moon times that's also privacy conscious. Get the latest NOAA weather observations from over 800 weather buoys spread across the world's oceans. BuoyPro is a great companion as a boating app or sailing app, and provides great insight into boating weather/sailing weather/fishing weather. Note: BuoyPro requires an internet connection. While the app provides data around the world, the best coverage is around the United States and US territories. Key Features: • Weather Observations - NOAA Buoy Observations for the following data points (the type of observations varies between stations, and may also vary throughout the day): - Wind speed, wind gusts, and wind direction - Air temperature & water temperature (a.k.a., sea temperature or ocean temperature) - Dew point - Pressure and tendency - Wave height, direction, and periods • Buoy Observation Trends - See how the marine weather datapoints are changing over time (*Premium) • Widgets - See buoy observations on your home screen (*Premium) • Favorites - Conveniently track observations at the buoy stations you care about most. With Premium, you also get a tab/sheet that shows buoy observations for all your favorites at once. • Maps - Find buoy stations on an interactive map, including NOAA, NCEP, & NASA overlays. Overlays are subject to change, but currently include base radar reflectivity, sea surface temperature, nautical charts, chlorophyll concentration, and more.
