Venues Comparer is a very easy to use application that helps you to systematically score and rank venues that you are considering for your event. Simply add your list of venues, add a list of factors you consider important, e.g capacity and location, then for each venue give a score for each of those factors. The scores are summed up and displayed in a summary section which allows you to visually compare the venues with ease. Ordered lists provide a definitive ranking, clearly indicating the top contenders overall, a matrix view displays the scores for all factors for each venue, helping to spot highlights and low points, a spider diagram provides an instant relative comparison. Factors can have a weighting associated with them, e.g. quality maybe less important to you than layout so you would assign a higher weighting to the latter and less to the former. The ranking system will apply the ranking to ensure your scores are proportionally weighted. Results can sometimes be surprising and the value in this type of ranking analysis is that it can help apply a more objective approach to venue selection, making it easy to prioritise those fulfilling your most important criteria.
